Saturday, March 24, we ventured to the new Red Mountain Park trails in Birmingham. It was an absolutely beautiful day! The overlook trail was a 4.5 mile hike round trip. I hiked in memory of my cousin, Harold Ennis, who was killed at Shoal Creek Mine earlier that morning, In the woods all seems right with the world! I cannot imagine what it must have been like walking in the Garden of Eden before the fall. One day we'll walk with Harold in the woods once again when the earth is new!
